How we work
Understand. Plan. Invest. Review.
Our relationship does not end after an investment is made. We believe in ongoing communication, periodic reviews and continued support.
The engagement
Four steps, in this order, every time.
- 01Step 1
Understand
We begin by understanding your financial goals, current situation, investment horizon, risk profile and future requirements.
- 02Step 2
Plan
We help you evaluate suitable investment and protection solutions based on your requirements.
- 03Step 3
Invest
We help you implement a disciplined investment approach aligned with your goals.
- 04Periodically
Review
Financial circumstances and goals can change. Periodic reviews help you assess whether your investment approach continues to remain aligned with your objectives.
What we hold to
The person behind the investment comes first
Before discussing any investment solution, we ask: What is the goal? When will the money be required? What is the investment horizon? How much market volatility can you comfortably accept?
Simple enough to understand
The best investment approach is not necessarily the most complicated one. It is the one you understand, can follow consistently and can remain committed to through different market cycles.
Discipline over the next opportunity
Successful investing is not about constantly chasing the next opportunity. It is about having a clear objective, investing with discipline, reviewing your investments periodically and staying focused on your long-term goals.
Why you are investing, not only what
Our role is not simply to help you invest. It is to help you understand why you are investing and remain disciplined throughout the journey.
We tell you how we are paid
As a mutual fund distributor we are paid a trail commission by the asset management company. We do not charge you a fee for distribution.
Insurance is protection
Life, term and health cover are evaluated as financial protection, offered under a separate registration from mutual fund distribution — not presented as an investment.
What we are not
A distributor, not an adviser.
AnuShrey Finserv is an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor (ARN-104126). We are not registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser, and the distinction is a legal one worth understanding.
A registered investment adviser charges you a fee and owes you a fiduciary duty. A distributor is paid by the asset management company and must recommend suitable schemes, but is not held to that same fiduciary standard.
We tell you this on the first call, in the plan document, and here. If you would prefer a fee-only adviser, we will say so and we can suggest where to look.
